We've blogged a lot on both this and our Green section site about tomorrow's international Hands Across the Sands demonstration against offshore drilling, with over two dozen beaches in Pinellas Counties being sites for such events.
For Tampa citizens there will also be an event that won't require too much of a drive – that will take place at the Gandy Bridge, facing South, at West Gandy Blvd. and County Road 587. Organizers want people to show up at 11 a.m., with the actual holding of hands at noon.
U.S. Democratic Senate hopeful Kendrick Meek has just announced that he will be participating at that event.
Meanwhile, earlier today the Meek campaign emailed reporters with the contents of a profile written on his Democratic Senate opponent, Jeff Greene, who was featured in the Washington Post today.
