Leaving Mastry’s, we found our car in the drizzle and headed for Pinellas Park. I’d been a fan of the Cajun Café ever since the gator burger I had on my first visit. (I’d recommend the burger to anyone—it’s a good starter Cajun dish, not too spicy unless you get it blackened, and the staff can point you toward about fifteen beers that’ll complement it nicely.) Tonight, we were guests of Rachel and Paul, who wanted us to get the full experience—dinner, beer, and swampy zydeco.
