I am a native New Jerseyian who graduated from the University of South Florida in 1987. I have had a passion for animals and the human/animal bond since before I could remember. I moved to Tampa after working for the largest distributor of pet supplies in the country as a sales rep and learning over 22,000 products.
I developed, owned and operated an ethical pet store, Rainforest Pets, for eight years in South Tampa and have worked with many rescue organizations, including the Humane Society of Tampabay, as well as hosted Big Cat Rescue, the largest cat sanctuary in the country, G.R.E.A.T. greyhound rescue and adoption of Tampabay where I rescued hundreds of animals, including exotics.
For the past nine years Ive been a co-host on a national radio show Talkin Pets hosted by my good friend Jon Patch.
I currently live with my dog Joey, though she is known as Jojo and two cats, Timmy and Jack. email: ltoborowsky@tampabay.rr.com
