If you're in the vicinity of the Tampa Convention Center tonight, you may feel a sudden urge to boogie-oogie-oogie. That's one potential effect of being bathed in the light of the rotating mirror balls artist Chris Doyle has hung from the Center and nearby palm trees as part of Ecstatic City, his installation for Lights On Tampa 2009. He's doing a test run tonight; the official debut of Doyle's and four other light-art installations (plus a raft of satellite projects in Channelside) takes place Saturday night.
