Preppy resort wear brand Lilly Pulitzer is scheduled to open a seasonal location on the first floor of downtown St. Pete’s Sundial. The new store will take over the Tampa Bay Rowdies team shop, which plans to relocate elsewhere within the shopping and dining complex.
Lilly Pulitzer — known for its bold, bright tropical prints and apparently attractive dresses — will call Sundial home for six months, starting the fourth quarter of 2018.
“With world famous beaches, record numbers of visitors and locals who enjoy a perpetual sun and fun lifestyle, Sundial is a great location for Lilly Pulitzer,” according to a statement from complex owner Bill Edwards. “We’re looking forward to the store’s arrival later this year, just in time to kick off our holiday celebration.”
Founded in 1959-ish, the namesake brand of late Palm Beach socialite Lilly Pulitzer operates 62 locations around the country, including another store locally at Tampa’s International Plaza.
