The Tampa Jewish Community Center hosts a special Bay area event this Monday night with its satellite broadcast of the nationally acclaimed series, Live from NY's 92nd Street Y. The latest installment features Caroline Glick, the deputy managing editor of the Jerusalem Post, who talks about Israel's future and its unique role in combating global terrorism during a lecture titled "Israel and the Global Jihad." Glick, an American, moved to Israel upon graduating from Columbia University and held a key government position under former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. In the beginning stages of the Iraq War, she was embedded with one of the first U.S. infantry troops to march on Baghdad. Her weekly columns can be found at jpost.com.
