What was your reaction when you heard you had been named to the Lust List?
I think I kind of laughed — I would never describe myself as lusty. But I like that the nomination mentioned my social media identity.

What was the sexiest thing about being a traffic reporter [at ABC Action News from 2008-14]?
To me what’s sexy is being confident in what you’re doing. I was definitely very confident as on-air talent, being in command of the information I had.

The least sexy?
Behind the scenes. My desk was in a portion of the studio that was dark and always freezing. Off camera I was huddled over my space heater in a disgusting Snuggie.

What are some tips for making oneself lust-worthy online?
Like any relationship, you need to know who you are and be open to communicating with people.

What’s sexier: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat?
My true love is Twitter. It’s my primary way of getting info and sharing info. I don’t lust so much over Facebook anymore. My Instagram is a lot of selfies and a lot of pics of my pets — I’m a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady.

How did you meet your husband?
Through a game night group when I was dating someone else. When my boyfriend and I broke up, I contacted a mutual friend and put it out in the universe that I have a crush on Paul.

What attracted you to him?
I thought he was really cute, and we were a really good complement to each other — he’s a banker, I’ve always worked in journalism. He helps to temper me a little bit.

What’s your idea of a perfect date?
If it’s an official date night, we like going to musicals at the Straz. If it’s more low-key, we can literally make a day of having lunch and walking around Ikea for three hours.

Turn-ons?
I’m just naturally drawn to people with strong personalities probably because I’m one myself — strong with a side of snarky.
