Anybody listen to Rush Limbaugh lately?
In my (still relatively) new job, I'm able to get out and listen to the radio at lunchtime. In addition to checking out Amy Goodman or Jim Rome, I'll occasionally move the dial to El Rushbo for some midday comic relief.
But the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico seems to have absolutely unhinged the conservative icon. When he's not bashing the Obama "regime" for the whole damn thing, a moment later he schizophrenically says it's really not any big deal at all (who could forget his lament that " the ocean will take care of this on its own if it was left alone and was left out there…It's natural. It's as natural as the ocean water is.").
You can also count fellow conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage out as a "ditto-head."
Savage can be heard live in the Tampa area on WWBA 820 AM Monday thru Friday. His particular shtick is going off on gays and illegal immigrants, but in the June issue of Playboy, the former San Francisco hippie goes off on a number of media personalities, and not all of them of the liberal variety.
