Alex Sink is not walking away from the fray. The Democratic gubernatorial candidate of 2010 attended the Hillsborough County Democratic Executive Committee last night, where she exhorted her fellow Dems that they don't want to make the same mistake they did two years ago. They say they don't want to do it, but if negotiations between more than two dozen property owners in Tampa and the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Agency don't work out, HART officials say they may go the eminent domain route to build their Bus Rapid Transit line through downtown up to North Tampa.
And there's still another full week before the next Republican presidential primary election. On the campaign stump, some of those GOP candidates are hitting President Obama regarding his foreign policy, though it's questionable if such criticisms are considered legitimate by those outside the hardcore conservative base (link to come).
