Tonight I know you're psyched – another GOP Presidential debate, this time being broadcast on Bloomberg TV.
In Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties, that means Channel 127 on Bright House, and Channel 104 on Verizon. And forgive us for stating the obvious, but this debate is huge regarding the future chances of one Rick Perry in the race.
South Carolina Democratic Representative Jim Clyburn is one of the select members of that Congressional super committee who has the fate of reducing the debt by $1.5 trillion over the next few months. It was announced yesterday that Clyburn will be speaking in Tampa next month.
We were up on the USF campus last night (getting busted with a parking ticket – I thought it was a holiday) to check out a group of students listening to Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn.
And last but not least, CL was sold to a new company yesterday, a media group named SouthComm based out of Nashville. Editor David Warner has the details.
