We'll take hanging out in a sports bar watching four NFL games vs. contending with the multitudes at local malls, though we did both yesterday.
Can we hear it for the Tampa Bay Bucs today? I didn't think so. I also didn't realize there were that many Denver Bronco fans in Tampa, although it was fun to be around Chicago Bears fans yesterday rooting against the Tampa Bay area's adopted professional squad yesterday.
Let's get to the news over the weekend, beginning with a protest march that took place Saturday morning in Tampa by a coalition of liberal groups.
CL also had a chance to catch Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn talk about security concerns for next year's Republican National Convention. We're still curious if taxpayers will be on the hook for the potential lawsuits from those protests that the mayor referred to in his interview.
And a new poll released on Sunday on Florida's primary election next month has Texas Governor Rick Perry way back behind the front-runners in fourth place. Perry was on television Sunday morning blasting Barack Obama for the fact that the Supreme Court has banned prayer in schools, a ruling that came when Obama was a year old.
