What a weekend!
While the nation mourned the 10th year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, there was a whole lot of games being played by football players (and tennis pros). And all of that leads into tonight's big Republican presidential debate in Tampa.
The way we see it, Rick Perry, the front runner for the Republicans, should be taking the brunt of the attacks – attacks he surely welcomes as the front-runner of the race now.
If you didn't already know, tonight's debate is a CNN-Tea Party Express affair, which has upset some liberals who intend on protesting outside the event.
Of course it was hard to miss the extensive coverage given to the anniversary of the terrorist attacks that hit this country over the weekend. It got us to thinking about what we thought was the biggest media story that emanated locally from Tampa over the past decade.
Locally, CL contributor George Niemann broke some news over the weekend regarding former Hillsborough County officials Pat Bean and Renee Lee that you should check out.
