You always read about these concerts — MySpace throws a secret show, and though it usually reveals the location and bands the day before it occurs, most of the rest of us find out about it after the fact. Or we find out on time, but have no possible way to check out the show as it's in [insert too far away locale here]. This time around, MySpace presents a Super Bowl-inspired concert — easy to put together because the band on the bill, Fall Out Boy, is already in town for the big game to play in support of Rihanna at Thursday's Super Bowl Smash Bash at Ford Amp. The Secret Show is held at State Theatre tomorrow night (Wednesday, January 28), at around 9 p.m.
This is probably as intimate as you'll ever see FOB, so even if you don't actually qualify to get in (you have to get an exclusive invite directly from MySpace, or you have to know the right people, or you have to be in the press), you now know a day in advance that it's occurring, in your town, so if you want to go, you can start figuring out just how you're gonna get in.
