Law enforcement authorities in Wisconsin announced Monday afternoon that the shooting suspect who killed six people and wounded three others at a Sikh temple just outside Milwaukee on Sunday was Wade Page, a former U.S. Army vet who the Southern Poverty Law Center says they had been tracking for a decade because of his ties to the white supremacist movement.
Page was shot and killed by the police in the parking lot of the Sikh Temple.
It's just another rampage fueled by guns in America. Sadly, the death came on the same day that the group Mayors Against Illegal Guns began running a national television ad calling on both President Obama and Mitt Romney to speak out on gun violence.
The group has created a website called Demand A Plan, and has a place on it for people to sign a petition calling on the two major presidential candidates to act on gun violence.
