Downtown Tampa reaches a milestone this week with the official groundbreaking of the new Tampa Museum of Art building on Friday at 11:30 a.m. The ceremony will include appearances by Mayor Iorio and architect Stanley Saitowitz, free lunch from Mise en Place for the first 500 attendees and a performance by the Busch Gardens Men of Note starting at 11:15 a.m. The sleek new riverfront building is expected to open in late 2009.
