• He's back, and blustery as ever

With new polls showing Newt Gingrich up in Iowa and Mitt Romney leading in New Hampshire, America's favorite morning television program, The Today Show, began its coverage Monday with some quick analysis from political director Chuck Todd, followed up with commentary from another noted political mind — Donald Trump.

The Donald's short-lived campaign ended in humiliation when Barack Obama and Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers eviscerated him with their comic routines at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in April. Now he's back with a new book, called Time To Get Tough.

And the Apprentice host is now attempting to play GOP kingmaker, as Newt Gingrich will come to New York to meet with him tonight at the Trump Tower.

Gingrich is so far the only candidate who has declared that he will participate in a debate that Trump plans to moderate in association with the conservative news organization NewsMax on December 27.
