On Saturday, Gala’s Half-Dressed Carnivale is a costume party in honor of the halfway mark to the new Salvador Dali Museum’s completion, which is scheduled to open in January 2011. Keeping with the half-finished theme, half-dressed models work the floor while costumed waiters serve sur-really delish cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at this "Gala" event the likes of which Salvador and Gala Dali would surely appreciate. After all, the man wore one of the most famous moustaches in history – he had a flair for the dramatic.
