Next week, Tampa Bay hosts several events celebrating and recognizing the courage and experiences of local refugees for World Refugee Day.
In Tampa, there's a Global Celebration at the historic Centro Asturiano building in Ybor City, which features the film New Year Baby, which tells the story of a Cambodian native who grows up in the U.S. unaware of her parents' experiences surviving the Khmer Rouge genocide.
