Located just west of Gainesville at 370 NE 386th Ave., in Old Town, this rural retreat has most recently been used as a vacation rental and comes fully furnished on a 4.5-acre lot near the Suwannee River.
On the ground, there’s a 736-square-foot main cabin, which features one bedroom and one bathroom, as well as pecky cypress walls, laundry and a small kitchen. There’s also an outdoor bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers, a fire pit, a grill and a smoker on the property.
But the main attraction here is the fully-functional, air-conditioned treehouse, which sits about 15-feet off the ground and comes with a queen bed, a couch and table, and a loft with a single bed.
The treehouse was actually built for a 2016 episode of the television show “The Treehouse Guys” on the DIY Network, which has since been bought by the Magnolia Network.
According to property records, the treehouse retreat was last purchased in 2021 for $200,000, and it can now be yours for $270,000. The listing agent is Michael Phillips of Meadows Realty.
