Skatepark of Tampa celebrates the success of its Transitions Art Gallery with a Grand Re-Opening Celebration this Friday night. The fun kicks off with a cookout at 7 p.m., along with the opening of an exhibit of works by music-oriented artists Heather Hannoura — who's probably best known for the artworks she created for AFI and Akaline Trio — and Orlando's Richard Minino of Horse Bites Design. In addition, Transitions also presents a Kiss of Death Records showcase featuring a bill of indie punk rock bands — Seminole-based Guiltmaker, Monikers from Orlando, Young Livers of Gainesville and Tampa's New Bruises. The music starts at 8 p.m.
