As you may have seen in our newspaper or on our website, CL has previously covered the offshore drilling protests by ‘Hands Across the Sand‘, a growing movement opposing offshore drilling, on the Gulf Coast beaches and at the St. Petersburg Town Hall meeting with Newt Gingrich.
Since those events, an offshore drilling plan has been proposed by the Obama Administration, allowing drilling along the eastern Gulf of Mexico and the north coast of Alaska.
