Pastor Terry Jones of Gainesville, who also owns a home in Pinellas County, misses the media spotlight that he's been without for the past couple of weeks after that whole Koran burning 9/11 thing , so he's coming  to Tampa this weekend to get it all started up again.

The New Yorker has a great (but ultimately sad) piece on how the negotiations for a climate change bill failed this year in the U.S. Senate, with our own George LeMieux getting a cameo in the drama.

For those of you who want to watch cable news at 8 p.m. at night but don't want to see Keith Olbermann or Bill O'Reilly, CNN aired a new program last night.  We watched it so you didn't have to.

And Alex Sink has had enough of Rick Scott, as she tore into her GOP rival in an interview yesterday afternoon.  Decrying the fact that he's leading her by a few points (if you average up the most recent polls), Sink accurately accused Scott of trying to buy his way into the Governor's mansion in Tallahassee.
