Two cabaret- and burlesque-informed shows take place in Tampa Bay this weekend. The Studio@620 opens its second annual presentation of The Girlie Show. Last year, it was a revue of Broadway's most risqué songs; this year, Ann Cornelius, Michelle Dowdy, Lisa Finegold, Arianna Hoeppner, Melissa Oropesa, Rosie Stovall, Colleen Cherry and Brandon Warren venture "Under the Big Top" for a circus-themed showcase of brassy standards and burlesque stripteases. The more adult-oriented FetishCon-sanctioned pre-party, Cabaret de Kinque 2008, is a single-night show hosted by Secret Eden and features "Seven Deadly Sin"-themed performances by Angela Ryan, Vivian Ireene Pierce (FetishCon Fan's Choice Guest of Honor), Evelyn Rose, Orias Bastet, Ana Aesthetic, Jezebel Tempting and Vhex.
