Pinellas County Commissioners convene Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. for their second and final public hearing regarding their proposed FY2012 budget.
As in recent budget workshops or hearings, members of various affiliated Pinellas County Tea Party groups plan to attend, and will hold a protest rally outside the County government building in Clearwater at 5 p.m.
And no doubt they'll be ready for bear.
Kris Gionet with the group Pinellas Patriots has sent an e-mail to supporters calling on them to attend, while mentioning some of the county's programs that are scheduled to be raised (such as the entrance fees to Fort Desoto and Howard Parks, as well millage rate increases for Emergency Medical Services and some fire districts.
