In spite of the cold weather sweeping the country, climate change is a serious reality. On Friday, January 29, from 11:30 am 12:30 pm, the Pinellas County Extension will host an introductory program to understand whats really going on. Its carbon friendly,too, via the internet.
Global warming has been a misleading term, which is why climate change is being used more frequently. Local conditions at any particular time are really weather patterns and should not be confused with climate change or global warming. Scientists now show evidence of ongoing impacts such as sea level rise, warming of the oceans and air as well as changes to our environment.
