Marco Rubio may or may not end up being Mitt Romney's running mate, but that doesn't mean you won't see him a lot over the next half year acting as a top surrogate for the GOP presumptive nominee and bashing Barack Obama in the media.
That's what happened today on Fox News Sunday, along with the inevitable back and forth between Rubio and host Chris Wallace about whether he would accept the nomination for vice president if he's asked by Mitt Romney. (You know he will accept the nomination if asked, but you also know he doesn't want to be seen as saying he wants it. Why do political reporters have to play that dance in every single interview he does?)
Rubio's biggest theme in his nearly 20-minute appearance was that Barack Obama has been a disappointment, not just in policy but in style.
