Summer Parks Program

Call to Artists

The Avant Garde, a young professional auxiliary group, in association with the Tampa Museum of Art, seeks local, emerging artists who are Tampa Bay residents with very little to no gallery experience. Artists must bring three pieces of work to the Tampa Museum of Art, 600 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa. The selection committee will review and recommend artists to exhibit, and sell their work at the Avant Garde's Art of Cocktails. Call 727-896-2787.

Breast Cancer Outreach

Mentor a Youth'
The Permanency Support program needs volunteers to spend two to four hours weekly with 1st and 2nd grade African-American boys. The children are currently residing in state foster homes, and need a stable influence on a weekly basis. Training, case management and monthly support groups are provided for volunteers.
