Harvard Medical School's Department of Continuing Education and Harvard's Mind-Body Medical Institute offer a curriculum examining the scientific relationships between spiritual practices and better health. A faculty of 18 includes Herbert Benson, M.D., president of the Mind-Body Institute. Registration and tuition are required. Costs $350 for physicians, $150 for others. Prom Dresses Needed
The Cinderella Project, a nonprofit organization, is once again collecting new or slightly used formal dresses and accessories to donate to disadvantaged teenagers in Pinellas County. The organization also accepts unopened cosmetics and hosiery as well as monetary donations. All donations are tax-deductible. Help for Abused and
Neglected Children
Gulf Coast Community Care's Permanency Support Program is looking for volunteers to help with children between the ages of 3 and 11 living in state foster homes. Volunteers spend a few hours each week building trust and offering support to the children through social interaction.
