From a nascent PR effort in Orlando that wrote to us about its efforts to restore the killed-off character of Marissa Cooper from the TV show The O.C. The fans insist that Marissa's death in a car crash at the end of the past seasons "was never officially confirmed" and that her return is a possibility:
We're not asking that she return for another whole season; we just want her to be on the first episode and leave for college or move away — that is a lot easier to deal with than death. At least that leaves a glimmer of hope that Marissa Cooper could, maybe someday, return to Orange County.
