• Randy Travis

A not so funny thing happened hours after officials with the "Got Your 6” benefit concert in Tampa announced that it would be Randy Travis, and not Willie Nelson, who would be headlining their event in Tampa on August 29, 2012, during the Republican National Convention.

He was busted for an alleged DUI.

TMZ reports that he Travis was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after crashing his car. Unfortunately, this is the second such charge against him this year.

The country star apologized back in February after he was arrested on a charge of public intoxication outside a North Texas church.

In a press release regarding the Tampa concert, Got Your 6 announced that "Willie Nelson and Jerry Jeff Walker had been set to appear at the Got Your 6 Tampa event, but due to a scheduling conflict their appearance in support of the movement will take place at a later date."

Got Your 6 describes itself as a non-partisan, entertainment industry-led movement devoted to changing the conversation around military veterans in America, and empowering veterans to convert their leadership and operational training into positive civilian roles in communities nationwide.
