The Florida Democratic Party raised $733,532 from April 1 through June 30, about half of the amount raised by the state Republican Party, according to a newly filed finance report.

The Democratic Party had about $15.7 million in cash on hand as of June 30. Large contributions during the quarter included $100,000 from the New Opportunity Florida political committee, which is chaired by Sen. Jason Pizzo, D-Hollywood.

The Republican Party of Florida reported earlier that it raised $1.47 million during the quarter.
