Rick Scott and some state Republicans who a ago were spending millions to beat him came together in Tampa yesterday to talk party unity.
Meanwhile his Democratic party opponent, Alex Sink, is using the powers of her CFO office to call for an audit of the new courthouse being derided as a "Taj Mahal." Sink is also eagerly awaiting her letter to the Scott campaign calling for five debates before the November election.
And President Obama will discuss the recent drop down of troops in Iraq tonight in a speech from the Oval Office. But with Afghanistan and the U.S. economy bigger issues for most voters, how significant will this be felt?
And activist Kelly Benjamin has announced that he's running again for Tampa City Council. Benjamin lost to Rose Ferlita back in 2003.
