I am kicking around Brooklyn this week playing shows and being awesome. I have limited computer access so I would like to share the video where my friends and I punked the gay-hating Christians in front of G Bar in Tampa. Many of my friends were hoping to "kick their asses" or throw things at them. I suggested this more peaceful approach. To this day, this was the only time the protesters quietly left our district. Rick Astley may be a bit ridiculous, but not any more than the idea that all gay people are going to burn in hell.
Strangely enough, when this came out I got almost zero negative feedback from religious people. The only criticism I received was from a couple gay-centered blogs accusing me of "acting too gay and raising the stereotype." Thoughts? Here is the video:
