Tampa's history as a cigar haven is no secret. But ever since the cigar rollers all but moved out of Ybor City, Tampa's status as "Cigar City U.S.A." has waned. Achieve Tampa Bay is bringing back the memories with its sixth annual Cigar City Celebration. Guests sample dozens of fine cigars while dancing to live music and indulging in first-rate Latin cuisine. There's also an open bar, casino games, prize drawings and a live auction, all to raise funds for United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay. Sat., March 3, 7 p.m., Cuban Club, 2010 Avenue Republica de Cuba, Tampa, $125 in advance/$150 at the door, 813-239-1179, achievetampabay.org.
