I am that person where a mosquito could be buzzing around 100 people and I would be the one being bitten. I later found that lavender oil does a nice job at keep them away. However, in the process of deterring bugs, I have succeeded in deterring my husband as well, seeing as he can't stand the smell. But, lo and behold, a natural new solution as arrived on the market: 45N 68W — and it works!
My husband found out about it on a Droid application from Floridahikes.com and politely "hinted" that I should check it out. 45N 68W is a pharmaceutical grade botanical oils based product that's a safer alternative to the synthetic, chemical-laden brands on the market. The product is patent pending and awaiting true organic status, but by the ingredients list, my sharp green eye sees no reason why it should not qualify.
