Show the EPA you want clean water! EPA hearing on water pollution limits - Wednesday, April 14

Please RSVP that you will come to the hearings to show support. Our opponents may have dollars on their side but we have another kind of "number -- strong, committed citizens, businesses, and community groups -- and that’s what it takes. See you next Wednesday.

Wednesday, April 14, 2010; 12-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Tampa Airport Hilton- 2225 North Lois Avenue, Tampa.

Coastal supporters, please sign up for the upcoming EPA hearing about proposing new limits to curb sewage and fertilizer pollution in Florida in Tampa next Wednesday, April 14th. There are afternoon and evening slots available.

Your voice is critical to the success of this process. The Gulf Coast has led the way in passing strong ordinances to reduce nitrogen and phosphorous runoff that pollutes our waterways. The Pinellas ordinance is the strongest to date and we can all be proud of what we’ve done. But those opposing this are very hard at work to stop our progress, both at the state and federal levels. We must tell EPA that Florida will lead the way to a clean water future.
