The weather's great, the Cubs are going to the Series, and you can cast your vote today and start to put the whole tawdry thing behind you. Monday's not screwing around this week, guys.
FRIDAY, OCT. 21:

A story broke about members of University of Tampa fraternity Pi Kappa Phi throwing away whole stacks of copies of campus paper The Minaret, which featured rape allegations against the frat on its cover. If trying to make the news go away by throwing away some newspapers sounds to you like exactly the kind of thing a couple of panicked frat kids might try without thinking it through, you'll be delighted (though not very surprised) to learn that said kids did it right in front of at least one surveillance camera, too.

Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections facilities opened early so folks could request or drop off vote-by-mail ballots. Seeing how this was done at least partially to help folks on St. Pete's largely African-American South Side vote (because the South Side didn't get an early voting location), we're totally sure its legality/constitutionality won't be brought up at all after the fact if things go the way most people already assume they will.
People terrified of change — several of whom probably rely chronically on meds of one sort or another — protested the pro-medical marijuana Amendment 2 at Clearwater's Edgewater Drive Park. SUNDAY, OCT. 23:
And finally, the Bucs came back from an early 14-point deficit to beat the 49ers 34-17 on the road. Nicely sportsballed, gents.
