Police arrested Clearwater man Christopher Venegas for kicking in the back door. In Orlando, the court battle rages over whether to make the 911 calls from the Pulse nightclub shooting public. On one hand, the phone calls could drive home the horror of that night, but on the other hand, do we really need to do that to ourselves — and the family? Look, people, you don't need to hear people's dying words to remember the worst mass shooting in US history. Memo to the media fighting to get these calls released: Please stop. This is why people hate us.
