Darby watched, revolted, as McLaren plunged his arms elbow-deep into the waist-high pile of dung.
"We've gotta mix this with the table leavings and wet cardboard, get a real good compost going," McLaren said.
"Lemme ask you," said Darby, "is there such a thing as good shit and bad shit?"
McLaren smiled. "Of course. But it's just like everything else — you've gotta go through all the shit before you can figure out what's what."

The Bay area mourned the passing of Salt Rock Grill chef Tom Pritchard. Tom was a wonderful man and a leading light for the development of Pinellas' contemporary food scene, and our thoughts are still with those fortunate enough to have been close to him.

Plant City shot down a legal challenge to its ban on tattoo and body-modification studios in the historic downtown district. Because they're gonna need those properties for blacksmiths and horseshoe fitters when historic tourism is the only reason to visit Plant City. (Seriously, Plant City is pretty rad. You should visit.)
FRIDAY, NOV. 27:
The University of Central Florida released video footage of what it believes to be two of the morons who posted anti-semitic flyers and Nazi imagery all over campus. College sounds like a drag nowadays, kids. Just get a job in a kitchen instead, and you'll learn very quickly to appreciate the contributions of people from all over the place.
