A photo of a poorly worded sign about a Tampa Bay church definitely not being a gun-free zone went viral over the weekend, once again providing compelling evidence that some contemporary Christians are really into just kinda focusing on the stuff about Jesus that they like and pretending the other stuff about tolerance and passivity isn't part of the deal.
SUNDAY, NOV. 19:
Former cult leader and unhinged murderous mastermind Charles Manson died overnight. David Cassidy is in a medically induced coma with multiple organ failure, and closer to home, Tampa native and country-music legend Mel Tillis passed away at the age of 85. Apparently Death is working ahead in order to actually have the Thanksgiving holiday off for once; expect fewer turkey-fryer fatalities this year.
