Property firm RD Management bought University Mall, a destination that for years has been gamely fighting against becoming one of those malls with just a Radio Shack, rug store and T-shirt shop. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.
Twenty-five years after filming Edward Scissorhands in the area, Tim Burton is reportedly returning next year for part of the production of his adaptation of YA novel Miss Peregine's Home for Peculiar Children. No confirmation on whether or not Johnny Depp will be in, too, but you know, those guys are like Goth Bert and Limited Edition Keith Richards Ernie, so, you know, odds are good.
