At approximately 12:06 a.m., Alex Sink finally came out and spoke to supporters at her downtown Tampa party headquarters.
With 91% of precincts in, Sink is just 2% down behind Rick Scott, with votes from lots of Democratic counties still coming in.
"There are still hundreds of thousands of votes to be counted," she said. " In Palm Beach County, in Broward County, and yes, in Miami-Dade County. And even here in our home county of HIllsborough. We're Floridians, so we know what it means to count every single vote. So this is what we're going to do: we're going to let the people of Florida. ALL of the people of Florida have their voices heard. "
Sink added, "We will wait to have all the voices heard."
So, that's where it stands right now. It may be several more hours before we get some finality.
