Skatepark of Tampa's art-and-music space Transitions beefed-up its sound system a little while back in order to better accommodate an increasingly beefed up schedule of underground touring shows coming in from all over the States. Tonight's road-show, co-promo'ed by Thinc Tank and Aestheticized Presents, fits the bill perfectly and should make good use of the gear. Here's what's on the menu: nicely atmospheric posthardcore/almost-metal from Philly's Rosetta; rhythmic, quirky prog-rock courtesy of New Jersey's Day Without Dawn; complex, Unsane-influenced shriek-core by NYC's coolly named Wetnurse; and spastic, death metal-informed noise via Cali's Heuristic. Fri., July 14, 8 p.m., Transitions Art Gallery at Skatepark of Tampa, 4215 E. Columbus Drive, Tampa, $7, 813-621-6793, www.aestheticizedpresents.com.
