The Eighth Annual St. Petersburg Cajun Zydeco Crawfish Festival is back to fill our bellies and ears with all things Louisiana. As in past years, the fest features a small Mardi Gras parade, crawfish races, dance lessons and the nonstop beat of accordion-heavy Zydeco music. Grammy Award nominee Geno Delafose headlines the event, along with Don Fontenot and Les Amis De La Louisiane, and Kevin Naquin and the Ossun Playboys. And, of course, festival organizers are shipping thousands of pounds of Louisiana "crawdads." Bring your bibs, ya'll. March 7-9, 4:30-10 p.m. Fri., noon-10 p.m. Sat., noon-8 p.m. Sun., Vinoy Park, Bayshore Drive and Fifth Avenue N.E., St. Petersburg, $12 Fri. and Sat./$15 Sun./$35 all three days (children under 12 enter for free), 727-892-5798, cajunconnection.com.
