Don't put those rainbow flags (or sequined hot pants or red leather platform boots) away just yet! This weekend, Ybor City's growing GaYbor District Coalition — a group of 91 gay and gay-friendly businesses, many located in the historic district — launches GaYbor Days, a four-day GLBT pride extravaganza hot on the heels of St. Pete Pride. Kick off the festivities on Thursday with parties at Lounge 714 and Spurs before a trio of reality TV celebrities blow into Ybor nightclubs for the weekend. On Friday, the velvet-voiced Kimberley Locke, of American Idol fame, headlines the "Steam" men's party at The Honey Pot; on Saturday, Work Out star Jackie Warner has the ladies breaking a sweat at "Flirt" at The Honey Pot while American Idol alum Frenchie Davis appears at G.Bar. Be sure to grab your feather boa and join the World's Largest Drag Queen Promenade — open to everyone from card-carrying divas to drag virgins — down the sidewalks of Seventh Avenue beginning at 6 p.m. on the corner of Seventh and 14th Street. Recover from the revelry on Sunday with brunch at Streetcar Charlie's, an ice cream social at Lounge 714 and a T-dance at Spurs. GaYbor Days, July 3-6 at various Ybor City venues in; for more info, go to gaybor.com or myspace.com/gaybor.
