Pet Pal Animal Shelter has put out a call for help, and it’s super-easy for you to do. It doesn’t involve money, cleaning out cages or adopting that super-cute senior cat who was making googly eyes at you (although you can totally do all those things, too).

No, what you need to do is give them your name and phone number if you can help them out during a disaster. If there’s a flood, fire, hurricane or any other sort of cataclysmic event and they have to evacuate the shelter, you’re saying you can temporarily foster a dog or cat. Don’t worry, they’ll give you food, litter and whatever else you need to take short-term care of your foster. And it goes without saying that if you’re on the emergency list and your own home is underwater, they’ll understand.

Want to sign up in case you can help during a natural disaster? Email them and let them know. That’s all you have to do.

There, don’t you feel like you did something good today?
