Hello everybody, and welcome to the last Mitch Perry Report for 2010.
It starts with local media news, where WMNF radio, Tampa Bay’s community radio station for over 30 years, will begin broadcasting its new programming schedule on the public next Monday, and includes this reporter returning back on the airwaves once a week.
We’re also announcing for the first (but certainly not the last) time that CL will host a mayoral debate amongst the candidates running to lead Tampa on February 10. You can read more here, but we’ll be adding details in the weeks to come.
And a strong grand jury report released Wednesday says corruption is “pervasive at all levels of government” in Florida, but the question is: will their recommendations be taken up by the party in power behind much of that corruption?
