The Studio@620's unique programming continues with this weekend's SunScreen Film & Video Festival. Shorts, animation, feature length and documentary films from the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany and Italy are on the screening schedule, each painstakingly selected from nearly 200 submissions. Highlights include Tampa filmmakers Pete and Paul Guzzo's recent award-winning comedy 99, in which the worlds of two losers collide; Curtain Call, a documentary by James Doolittle that follows Maureen Mullin, founder of South Philly nonprofit Curtain Call Creations, as she and a team of artists and schoolchildren write and produce a musical play; and Anna und der Soldat (Anna & The Soldier), a narrative short that follows a traumatized young woman with an urgent need for revenge.
