You know it's summer in Florida when:
1. You open the door in the morning and the air hits you like a hot, wet blanket.
2. You get in the car and sustain first-degree burns when you grab the steering wheel.
3. Your leathers take on a fine green sheen of mildew.
4. Your car actually floats through the intersection of Swann and Howard after a storm.
Yes, summer in Florida's a major drag, but that doesn't have to be all bad.
