You know it's summer in Florida when:

1. You open the door in the morning and the air hits you like a hot, wet blanket.

2. You get in the car and sustain first-degree burns when you grab the steering wheel.

3. Your leathers take on a fine green sheen of mildew.

4. Your car actually floats through the intersection of Swann and Howard after a storm.

Yes, summer in Florida's a major drag, but that doesn't have to be all bad. The Planet fun pundits wracked their brains to come up with drags that could be fun — drag shows, drag races, taking a drag, knock-down-drag-out fights, to name a few. You'll also find plenty of stuff that isn't a drag to do this summer, including river cruises, spring hopping, pornaoke and even a pilgrimage. Not to mention beauty tips, like our guide to fake tanners, and a new twist on an old summer chestnut: building sand sculptures.

So, put your feet up, pop open your favorite cold one, and read on. You're bound to find something you never thought of to do this summer.
