
Although the U.S. Senate voted down the controversial budget plan outlined by House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan last week, 57-40, you can bet that action won't be the last word about the plan, not when Democrats feel they've got the Republicans on the run on trying to defend its aim to dismantle Medicare as we know it.
Tuesday morning in Tampa, a dozen liberal activists representing different groups held a news conference in front of the Tampa district office of Senator Marco Rubio, criticizing him for his support of the Ryan bill, and not just for what it would do to the entitlement medical program for seniors.
